We have delivery of sky glass and sky live today...however sky live is saying need to upgrade subscription but it is included in our package..any idea?

Try powering the TV off at the mains for a few minutes and then seeing if it works. Can you see the Sky Live on in your accout on the app etc?
If that doesn't work, you will need to contact sky customer services as we are fellow subscribers here.
