Still no fix for this problem. All I get is the purple wheel. I have tried everything that has been advised and it still not working. 5 has not worked on glass now for nearly a month,

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.

Hi
I'm having the exact same problem with Channel 5 app.
Tried to open it on its own or through a program. Just get the buffer circle & nothing more.
I've tried re-connecting the internet, refreshing apps. Re-started it all.
Nothing seems to help!
Anybody had any luck at getting this fixed??

Since raising these issues, I've done several refresh apps, been escalated to support and direct email threads. Their updates highlighting new app updates, have followed by my actions to refresh the apps without resolution.
The app has since changed from my5 to just '5' and no further resolution after refreshing the app. All the reset, turn of tv/router hasn't made any difference and strongly think something is wrong with the app and sky glass integration. It is a shame we can only enjoy live records of channel 5 content, but does nothing to boost their audience based on the most common viewing experience.

I'm having the exact same issues but on sky stream.
I've also done several apps refresh & my5 has also changed to just state 5 but then just buffer.
I believe channel 5 & it's streaming partner My5 were merging together. All I can think is this is causing a problem on some platforms.
Fingers crossed we get some answers!

Same issue! so I have started to watch Wentworth prison from series 1, however now every time I go off the app/turn tv off, then I click on the program in the "continue watching" rail (or even just 5 App), I just get a loading screen, but nothing actually loads. This is happening every single time.
I do find going down to sky glass settings and restarting TV will force it to work again however you can't be doing this every single time you want to go onto an app.
