My sky glass tv won’t turn on

My sky tv won't turn on  just black screen

Have you tried turning it off at the mains for minute then powering it back on?

Also have you tried turning it on using the standby button on the TV, this can help prove if the issue is the remote

I'm having the same problem. Can't turn on the tv. Tried turning it off at the wall. Tried turning it back on at the wall while holding the stand-by button, as per help guide. Nothing has worked. Red stand-by light only on intermittently. Did run an automated update earlier, can back on for a few hours then back screen since. Can anyone help?

Sound like you need to phone Sky as the TV sounds faulty.

 

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
