Got kicked out of Apple TV three times on the same episode today arrrrrr!

I had this happen with Discovery+ app early this morning between 1 am - 4 am
While watching Truth Behind the Moon Landing on Discovery+ app at random times will revert to sky glass home screen
It happened twice
I not had it happen yet while using Prime Video/Netflix/Disney+/Paramount+
In regards to HDMI inputs that some are reporting issues happening
All devices connected to HDMI ports 1/2/3 with my Sky Glass work ok so far without any issues

Doesn't matter what I'm watching whether streaming a box set or watching live tv. It just returns to Home Screen this happens on sky tv and on the puck. Really annoying when watching live sport and it does it at crucial moment. Or enything for that matter. It never used to, don't know if it's an update from sky?

I am having the exact same problem, it closes the app mid programme , and this happens on discovery plus , Disney plus , and ITV X ... why won't sky fit the problem ... my sister also has a Sky Glass TV and has the same issues ! Very annoying !

Finding apps, movies , programs stop or get kicked out after 90 to 120 mins then having to go back into program to finish watching . Is there an easy fix ?

No easy fix. Sky are aware of it. No timescale for a solution. Lodge a complaint with them if you're unhappy.

I am having the same issue. In the middle of watching Disney and the app suddenly closed taking us back to sky home screen. Our sky glass is connected to sky WiFi and is the 65" version. Remote batteries not low and remote hasn't been pressed. So not related to that and must be software issue

Nothing to do with remote 'probably', who knows with this system.. There is a new issue to add to the list. Recently Sky is reverting to the homescreen whilst in apps or even watching live TV. There is also now an issue with HDMI connections reverting to the homescreen.
The latest version 18 may well be the culprit.
Lodge your concern with Sky, call them it all helps for the future if you've had enough and want to return the product.
Nearly 2 years in these constant outstanding and new problems should not be happening. Remember you pay monthly for this service!

I am looking for help today I have Sky Glass and Paramount Plus as part of package and it seems to be cutting out after an hour of use.
Any ideas gang what might be doing this?

I gather a fix has been found, but they haven't quite finished working on the new bug to be introduced when it's issued.

Unfortunately there's a problem with all the apps doing this for the past week. It's a matter of waiting for Sky to fix.

There's a random unexplainable glitch affecting most apps on Sky Glass at the moment which seems to boot users out of watching content after a random amount of time.
Sky are aware of it but no timescale has been given for a fix.
