Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Snookie12 I didn't mention in my previous post but I have been having the same problem with Discovery +. Strangely it only happens on some programmes but not others. There have been a number of other threads on the forum about the issue but unfortunately it is just a question of waiting patiently for it to be fixed 🤞

My Sky Glass TV has been doing this too, when using different apps. Itvx, Disney+, netflix too. Always when watching a programme. Very frustrating because when it drops out, the app goes back to the beginning of the programme and not to where I watched it to?? Any help is appreciated.

This problem turns out to be having an effect on lots of people using a variety of Apps (in my case Discovery +). There are a number of threads on the subject but Sky are aware of the problem and are working hard to get it resolved as soon as possible. It is frustrating but all we can do is be patient while Sky find a solution. Hopefully it won't take long 🤞

All my apps on sky glass keep turning themselves off in the middle of programs

I'm having the same problem. When I go back into the app the program has gone back 2 or 3 minutes.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis is a known fault which is occurring with a lot of the Apps. I have noticed it with Discovery + on my system. If you wanted to search you will find a number of similar threads on the forum. Sky are aware of the problem and are working to find a solution. We just have to be patient and hope they resolve the issue quickly 🤞

The latest firmware version 18 has caused these issues along with apps just shutting down whilst viewing, HDMI connections failing to name a few.
You'll probably have to wait for a new firmware update to see if Sky can rectify the faults they've caused rolling out version 18. Maybe they will rollback 18 🤔

@david+john Perhaps details of the problem hadn't filtered down to the individual customer services member you spoke to. This is a known issue and Sky are working to find a resolution. I have been effected when I watch Discovery + but I have noticed it happens with certain programmes but not others which is weird. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but wait patiently for a solution ☹️

@Anonymous
I have experienced this and I'm still on firmware version 17 on all my pucks. Am I the last to be upgraded to version 18? I usually get the update fairly promptly (I use the word "update" with tongue firmly in cheek!).
Maybe I'm being punished for having the audacity to associate Sky with the Stockholm syndrome on a previous post 😏.

I've got Sky Glass. When I'm streaming a series, every one and a half to two and a half episodes I get thrown out of the app and back to the home screen. It doesn't matter which app - it happens with all of them.
Any ideas?
