Now we have the addition of F1 in UHD, maybe sky can make more sky channels uhd???

I think in a few years channels will be near enough dead as we know them. I read an article that BBC are pushing ahead with Stream content as priority and ITVX is already heading that way.
I'd imagine the BBC will have to transmit linear channels for a while just like SD before switching to HD but it will happen.
I can't remember when I last watched a live TV broadcast other than the news and even then I often catchup on the latest hourly bulletin.
