Hi @Sjwagdom63 and welcome to the forum.  Have a read of the following link which explains what you need to do when setting up a second hand Glass TV.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/buying-sky-glass-second-hand

I have not done it myself and don't actually know how to remove your old account.  You might need to call Sky but have a look at your MySky account to see if there is any option in there.  I thought there might be one under Your Products / devices but on checking mine there isn't a relevant option.

@Sjwagdom63  Whoever you got it off should have reset it, you could try the steps here Buying Sky Glass or Sky Stream second-hand | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com

To add an extra device to your account that you bought from somewhere else, you’ll need to link it to your account.

  1. Plug in the new Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream puck.
  2. If you’re:
    • Seeing the Sky Home screen (Playlist and TV show menus etc.) , run a Factory Reset. Press Home on the Sky remote, scroll down to Settings > System Management > Resets & updates > Factory reset. This will delete any saved shows from the Playlist.
    • Not seeing the Sky Home screen - skip to the next step.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate the device.
  4. When you see the ‘Your Sky Glass account’/’Your Sky Stream account’ screen, select ‘This isn’t me’.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
