You'll need to ring Sky's Technical Dept. They will ask you to try certain things and then if that doesn't work they can arrange a replacement for you there and then.
It happens. I had to replace my first Gen Two set for a similar problem. It's all covered under warranty.
The delivery people will pack up your damaged set but take pictures and video in case of disputes.
