I'm finding that I don't need to actually sign out of Prime. I just open Prime and watch a couple of minutes of a stream then I can switch over to any other Sky channel and it "seems" to be functioning normally.

@MarkP65 Yes, but when I was doing that I had to do it each morning. Signing out of Prime has fixed it permanently, it seems.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
So, we think we've established that signing out of Amazon Prime solves the problem. That's fine for me, as I have a Google TV plugged in that I can use for Prime - others are using a firestick. But it's not an acceptable solution for a product that is marketed as all-in-one. All of the installed Apps should work seamlessly with the Sky OS. Sky need to sort this out properly, but it's clearly proving to be a tough job.

Maybe it's worth investigating if an app refresh (in the glass settings can take a few hours to complete in the background) would permanently fix the issue
also worth signing out and deregestering the glass tv on the prime web page then register it
unfortunatley there doesn't seem to be any settings within the prime app to clear the cache or reset the app (like in the native Netflix app)

One of the reasons its could be taking longer to fix is if its requiring a fix to the Prime Video App, which means its a fix that Amazon need to be producing and testing before its released.
Historically issues that have been attributed to third party apps have typically taken longer to get fixed that if the fix was solely the responsbility of Sky. You can find a handful a examples on this forum alone when specific issues with some of the third party app ( including some for Prime Video) have unfortunately taken a few months to get fixed.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
Second morning everything has worked. I have not touched Prime since I signed out and reset on Saturday. So it seems either I do not use Prime and Glass works, or I use Prime and have to reset the TV every day. Unsatisfactory either way.

@SkylerSky Agree completely. Third morning without problems for me, after signing out of Prime.

Re: Sky glass
Finally it's now working . Called yesterday to say I wanted to cancel my subscription and a really helpful guy talked me through doing an update which I've tried before but it appears to have worked this time and all is good.
My faith may have been restored in sky Tv's service.
