Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
Every morning for about two weeks, I've had 'please wait for your programme to load'. A soft reset or a power recycle has enabled the tv to work for most of the day, but overnight the problem recurs. Then, this morning, I've had to do three soft restarts already. I tried hard wiring with Ethernet - same problem. Hope there's a fix soon.

Re: Sky Glass no live TV but streaming services work fine
@DMK wrote:I have the same issue when turning on the TV in the mornings, all is fine for the first 5 minutes, but then the screen goes Black, but I have sound, if I change channel, I get the waiting for program to load. I have tried everything, but it's still the same issue. It happens every 5 minutes for the first 2 hours, I am turning the TV off and on again at the plug every 5 minutes ( which, being disabled, is not easy ). To say that I am annoyed is an understatement; if they don't sort it soon, it's GONE.
@lettice can you move this post to the main thread please - are you able to lock this older thread ?

Glad your puck is ok, I've only had a handful of issues. Hopefully it should be okay after it's factory reset. Just a ballache having to all this so many times a day

The daily routine with this piece of #### TV: "I want to watch something urgently! Time for the daily restarts and resets!"

Twice I've had to restart the TV today, which is quite normal. In 30 minutes, I've been able to watch 10 minutes of football.
Do something about it, [removed]

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.
@thereaduckofdeath I have had this problem like you and have found that going through a factory reset with Sky (in case of problems re-setting the TV back up) clears the problem for a few days as opposed to the usual soft reset (via settings and unplugging etc).
Like you, I want a fix to this problem soon. I am sick to death of having to re-set everything back up like my picture/sound settings, app sign ins etc. I only started getting this problem after getting the last update from Sky on my Gen Two.
If you go back two or three pages, there is a form from Sky to fill in. The more people that do this, the more widespread they will know this problem is.

@neildark My own experience is that the factory reset only solves the problem for a few days before the black screen of doom reappears again. 🙁

Yes, I've done full resets - solution is temporary, and is more trouble than it's worth, as logging back into all my Apps is a pain.

Re: Sky Glass: Black screen with sound playing in background
I'm getting this issue with my 55" Glass 2, but not my 55"Glass 1.
I've found the best way (for me at least) to get the TV up and running quickly is on first switching on, go to settings/system management/resets & updates and restart the TV. Once the set has rebooted, pick any programme from your playlist and fast forward it at 30X for a few seconds. Then you can select whatever you want to watch, and the set works normally for the rest of the day.
As I said, this always works for me, but knowing the vagaries of the Sky OS it might not work for you. Worth a try, though?

Sky glass form
Hi everyone, sky has put a form together to try and find out everyone's experienceses and problems we are having with the 'please wait for program to load' message and black screen. Please fill this in because the more that it's filled in the more info sky will have to be able to fix the problems.
