Is there an upgrade option for sky glass

After seeing the new Sky Glass 2, I would like to upgrade, but is there anything Sky offers to be able to do this? If so, how?

You can't go through an upgrade route but you are perfectly free to order a Gen 2 set if you wish @ConTom

The only thing you can do is sell your gen1 Sky Glass TV and put any money you make from it towards the purchase of a gen2 Glass TV.

The numbers of gen1 sets for sale on eBay is going up on a daily basis (currently 114) so for sale prices are likely to fall further.

@ConTom  Note that any finance agreement for the gen 1 must continue to be paid off and is non transferable should you sell it

Re: Is there an upgrade option for sky glass

They should do an upgrade option like mobile phone providers do, and be able to trade in 1stGen Glass, I'm still paying off mine.

What's the main difference apart from the size?

Are there any OS differences?

had SkyQ + 2 Minis with Philips Ambilight 48"

Now SKY GLASS 65" +
3 Pucks

SONY S40R 5.1 surround sound bar
SKY VIP Diamond (20+ Years)

The logistics involved in returning large televisions are somewhat different to smartphones, as is the residual value of a device with a specification from 2021.

It's the same operating system.

Physical differences are listed

and widely reported online.

If it was practical to do an upgrade option on TVs all the established TVs manufacturers would have been doing it for years.
