I have recently changed to sky glass and have issues with WiFi.

I have recently changed from Sky Q with two mini boxes and a booster to sky glass. Being requested to return the old hardware or get charged for the equipment, however since installing sky glass this means I won't have WiFi coverage where I need it in several places around my home and office. I am about to be charygor the hardware I need to send back and will not have the required WiFi coverage I need so assume I will need to cancel everything to get back the hardware I need, please advise.

unfortunatley we are all customers I'm here

I would assume you do not need to return your booster though as it's part of your broadband setup.

alyernatives are using home plug adapters or a mesh WiFi system.

@Paul+M+PIt depends a bit on who your broadband provider is and what the booster is for as Sky's messages to return equipment is often generic.

If Sky is your broadband provider then it may come under their whole home guarantee or whatever it is called so you need the booster.

However if it is provided so that Q would work with a 3rd party broadband provider then Sky may want it back.

Phone Sky to find out, I am not sure Sky even know who has boosters.

If your mini boxes were being used as WiFi hotspots then your WiFi coverage will obviously decrease when you return them. If you want the system back as it was then you need to cancel Glass and revert back to Sky Q.

To retain the Q boxes you would need to cancel Glass.

The Q boxes are giving you a five-node mesh (if you have Sky broadband) which isn't necessarily straightforward to replace, although dedicated modern mesh hardware is 'better' than Q at wireless propagation.
