Re: How do i find out if sky glass will work with my broadband
@Charl3 You need a stable and relatively fast broadband. If you have access to Netflix you can check the speed by using the get help> check network in the netflix App. Note it is not the speed you are receiving from your ISP that is relevant but the speed being received at your current TV from the router.
The minimum speeds recommended by Sky are as follows:
HD = 25mbps
UHD = 30mbps
HD + 1 puck = 30mbps
UHD + 1 puck = 35mbps
You have a 31 day cooling off period so if you find your new Glass is struggling you can cancel with no charge.

Theres nothing stopping it working on non-Openreach based services either in general.

... although there have been reports of issues with other ISPs ... so the generalisation is unsafe🤔

Yeah one ISP at the moment, which is an issue the ISP is aware of and trying to resolve.
The statement is still accurate that the Sky streaming platform is designed to run on all ISPs, there is no reason why it shouldn't outside configuration issues on the ISP end (which if one would complain to the ISo about would get resolved).

There are other ISPs that have or have had issues😉
Sweeping generalisations are never a good idea🤔
