Re: How do I sell a Glass TV?
@JJ39 You would need to advertise it privately via online selling sites etc

Re: How do I sell a Glass TV?
If you search for 'Sky Glass' on a certain well known auction site, then filter the results by toggling the sold items = on, you should be able to get an idea what a second hand sets of a given size & colour have sold for.

Re: How do I sell a Glass TV?
Hi @JJ39
Remember to factory reset it before selling so another user can add it to their Sky Glass account or set up and account and don't have access to any of your accounts.

Unfortunately the don't command too high a price due to the practicalities of shipping etc with them being big and heavy.
Also as a reminder, if purchased on finance, you are still responsible for the loan repayments even if you sell the TV and haven't cleared said loan.

Realistically such a sale can only be 'buyer collects' which severely reduces potential purchaser numbers and hence the price which can be expected.
You'd be extremely lucky to get half the list price: 1/3 might be possible. As noted above, if you acquired the set through the Sky loan then any outstanding balance must be repaid either over the contracted period (24 or 48 months) or earlier whether or not it's still in your possession.

Re: How do I sell a Glass TV?
@JJ39 Just as an example I had a 55" Glass TV which I advertised for £350 but after a couple of weeks I dropped the price to £300 and finally got an offer of £250 which I accepted.
