Having continuous problems with Sky Glass connecting to Sky broadband. all online checks show everything is fine, but Sky Glass doesn't seem to see the WiFi for a few minutes and then re-connects. Especially annoying when watching live sport!!

What is your broadband speed, check this by opening the Netflix app on the glass tv open you account go to the bottom where it says get help, Click on that go to check network click on that and run a speed test, also can you connect the tv by ethernet cable ?

Currently is is running at 143 mbps, sadly we do not have a long Ethernet cable so the answer is we only run it on WiFi

The Netflix speed test will tell you what speed the tv is getting, I have 500mps, because of other things that are connected to the WiFi, my Netflix speed check says my tv is get 100mps, it's not the speed to the hub but to each item, and you can get long ethernet cables from places like argos if needs be

Now test your broadband speed with the my sky app, that will tell you the speed to your hub, any outrages in your area and any WiFi issues you may have,

How is your ips Internet service provider?
04 Feb 2024 01:31 AM
Who is your provider
04 Feb 2024 08:22 AM
We are on full fibre and Sky/Open Reach are the provider

OK, I have full fibre 500mps, with, sky, is that fttp ?
04 Feb 2024 08:56 AM
How far from the hub is the tv, do you have any boosters from sky ? Have you done a service check on your broadband with the my sky app ? When I say fttp, full fibre to the property, do you have an o n t box from open reach or are you using an old open reach socket?

So as I said I have fttp 500mps , my sky glass tv speed check on the Netflixs app says I am getting a 100mps and on the same app on the puck up stairs in the bedroom is get just below 90mps so not sure how you are getting 145mps on the Netflixs app on your sky glass tv if you are getting 145mps to the hub
