Sky remote in bedroom not working even after putting new batteries in. Sky TV pic on telly but remote not working

@Susan+meldrumFirstly try to pair the remote again as follows:
- Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This resets/clears the remote)
- Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds (bluetooth mode). A connected message should appear on your screen, press continue and it's all done.
If that doesn't resolve the problem have a look at the following troubleshooting guides:
You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine on two occasions).
If none of the above help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote
If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.
