If they are graphic vertical blocks of colour then they are a recurring software glitch that often gets reported on here with Glass. A reboot can usually cure it (temporarily) but it may occur again.
If the vertical lines are less pronounced and more noticeable on things like panning shots of football pitches then it could be poor backlighting on your unit. This can be known as DSE or Dirty Screen Effect. It's a common occurrence on cheaper and poorly made LCD TVs from all manufacturers.
If this is your issue then you can call Sky and ask for a replacement Glass which will hopefully be better.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Moxy1975 A while back I had a vertical grey line on my Glass screen. I did a reboot and it resolved the issue and fortunately it never came back. So, try a reboot as follows: Switch off your Glass at the plug socket and wait for a minute before switching it on again. It will take about a minute to reboot.
If that doesn't resolve the issue call sky for more troubleshooting.
