Clearly it would be running differently because Glass is intended to be a delivery platform for Sky subscription service: whatever they choose to claim, it's absolutely not a standard smart television set.
It's perhaps worth noting that the hardware itself has a 24 month warranty, although it's somewhat unclear how this can be claimed when there's no longer a subscription in place.

Running differntly is not same as it not working correctly without the sky sub its just a normal tv you get the freeview via antenna and then you have a great platform for the apps i asked because i was wondering if anyone else has had the same issues your comment is just common sense but you did not seem to get the question that or you didnt read it correctly

@Paulo123456789 Glass TV do not support, only TVs that support the Freeview specification get Freeview, what Glass TVs get via the aerial is DTT😉

Others have used the Glass TV without a subscription with varying degrees of success🤔

Yes I must admit I haven't actually plugged in the antenna 😂 I just assumed it was freeview etc I mostly just use apps with subs and decided it was pointless paying for sky when I wasn't actually watching it I was mainly Apple Disney prime Netflix.. I just found it weird that all apps n tv was working great now that I haven't got sky subscription it doesn't was wondering 🤔 if maybe the sky subscription also included important updates for tv to work correctly or if it didn't make a difference because if it's not the case then obviously I need to contact someone to repair tv as stated on the post what the tv is now doing

Now that you have cancelled your Sky TV subscription service you will receive a replacement remote with direct link buttons.to YouTube and Netflix, so that underlines that streaming services are supposed to work without a Sky TV subscription😉
Note... to activate the DTT aerial functionality you have to disconnect the Glass TV from the internet ... it was too much of a programming challenge for Sky to allow App access and DTT access conveniently on a Glass TV without a Sky TV subscription🤔
