Glass tv picture issue

I have called and spoke to someone with regards to picture issues when watching the tv. On the left side of the screen gets a big white block and sometimes some other colours. This have been happening on various channels such as the movie Chanel's and I player. If I rewind and watch the same part again the issue is still there. This comes and goes and lasts for a few seconds. Someone tried to call me today to follow up as I was advised to reset the picture settings the other day but I was unable to answer today to confirm that the issue is still happening.

Hi we are all customers like you on this forum 

have you tried pulling the plug for 10 minutes ? This can often clear screen glitches
