Hi,
I'm curious as to why the Sky Glass services cost more than the Sky Q services. Surely they would cost the same to deliver?
I was looking to upgrade from Q to Glass but was really disheartened to see the price difference between the exact same packages. Not to mention the 'whole home' costing more than multi-screen.
I didn't mind paying extra for the television, but for the price of everything else to be inflated, it just doesn't make it feasible.
Why?

The service does tend to be cheaper if getting Sky Stream and not Sky Glass, at least based on the prices I was offered a month ago (Q and Glass were the same price and Stream I was quoted about 30% cheaper).

Thanks for your answer!
I appreciate that there is an extra charge for the tv, that was quoted at £38pm.
But the actual tv services seem to cost more, for example Sky Cinema was an extra £2 a month, Sky kids was £4 more, Sky entertainment was £6 more.
Then the cost of the whole home service through the puck, that was a good £5 more than Multi screen.
I just find it bizarre, no incentive whatsoever for existing customers to upgrade!

They can also differ day to day depending on when you phone Sky, you may for instance get a better offer in 3 days time than you do today.

That's really helpful to know. I may get back in touch with them in a few days then.
Ideally I'd like to make the switch to Sky Glass and Sky Stream, but not have to pay much more (barring the £38pm for the tv) per month for the service subscription. I've been a Sky customer for 5 years, hopefully they will come back with a better incentive!
Thank you 😊
