Evening all..
I don't have the sky experience turned on. Ambient display, movement sensor etc..
Each morning my wife has noticed that when turning on the TV with the remote it's in the advert carousel and immediately the remote is unresponsive.
She's had to turn it off at the wall then all is well again.
I've done a remote reset and reconnection and I'll see how that goes but why has this started to happen??

There were a few similar posts not so long ago, but typically I can't find it for reference. There were reports that behaviour was something to do with firmware (of the remote) not being updated due to a problem.
I would try un-pairing and repair the remote as per the instructions here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass
Failing that ask Sky for a new remote: https://www.sky.com/help/forms/streaming-tv-remote
I'll keep digging to see if I can find the post I'm thinking of, and post back if there is any other advice.

What happens if you press the Standby button on the side of the Glass TV rather than power off/on at the plug?

Happy to report that after last night's unpairing and re-pairing it seems to have behaved itself this morning.

Had no effect. Unresponsive. When we tried that.
(Standby button at the side of the TV when pressed).
