Glass and Vodafone connection issues

I have switched from sky Wi-Fi to Vodafone says connected to constant problems with screens going blank and then fuzzy colors

Hi @Ks27 

 

What speed are you getting? Sky Glass needs 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD. You can check via the connection test in the netflix app settings menu.

 

Unfortunately the Vodafone router isn't the most capable, I had nothing but issues when I was with them. You can try changing the WiFi channels or connecting via ethernet and seeing if this gives more stability.

Thanks for your reply speaking to solicitor about this it's not fit for purpose

Thanks for your reply I've tried many things I was so looking forward to having this it's been nothing but stress and disappointment Will try changing Chanel on router if no good I'm speaking to my solicitor!!!

Not sure speaking to a solicitor will resolve anything. A conversation with Sky or Vodafone would be a more obvious starting point.

 

A user in another forum post advised the following after speaking to Vodafone about Glass/Stream issues:

  • Type 192.168.1.1 into browser
  • Sign into the router (using details located on Router)
  • Select Expert mode on the right hand menu
  • Then go to Internet and then DNS & DDNS. 
  • Select Manual
  • Change the 1st to 1 1 1 1
  • Change the 2nd to 1 0 0 1
  • Apply the changes.
