I had a free ad skipping there for a few months and cancelled it yesterday as it was due today. Just checked and got another 2 months free. Result! Should be free anyway I reckon all the time.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Davy58 A result, well done. I fully agree that Add skipping should be free especially taking into account that the FF/RW functionality is very poor. This makes skipping the adds rather hit and miss. Using voice commands work much better.

Keep doing that and you should continue getting it free. I did for 6+ months.

Yes had same offer on my Sky Stream and took it up.
Remember on first day of the second month to cancel in MySky, then by the time the bill is refreshed later during that month, maybe there will be another two months.
Or even one day of the ads is no real pain, if the offer only comes when you have ad skipping off.
