Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAt least one of my pucks has updated to QS017 overnight. Nothing glaringly obvious in this roll out however many updates to the UI are not activated until the whole fleet has got the update and only a small number get it on the first release.

My Sky Glass and Sky Stream Pucks was updated to QS017.004.00P early this morning
I have not noticed anything that stands out as new yet
I did not have the picture issues that some had with QS016
I will have more time at the weekend to notice if there is anything new I might have missed

QS017.004.00P arrived on our Kitchen Sky Glass at 6pm this evening
Stability seems pretty poor - Live streaming has stopped 3 times in the last hour
- All channels saying wait loading, then just a black screen
If I click home and go into iPlayer when live streaming stops, iPlayer streams fine...
Only way to get live streaming back is to power cycle
Internet is FTTP 300Mbs with Wi-Fi 6E router with great signal - The last 4 months have been flawless until todays update

I do not have any of those issues you listed in your post in regards to Sky Glass or Sky Stream Pucks with QS017.004.00P or QS017.005.00P
Is your Sky Glass connected wired ethernet or Wifi
Using a TV in a Kitchen connected by Wifi is going to be subject to wifi interference from likes of Microwave/Friidges etc
Wifi interference will vary at different times of the day depending on wifi channel in use

It's just frozen again - Please Wait for your programme to load
then - There is a technical fault with this channel, please try later
cant watch TV for more than 15 mins without having to reboot
it's been connected via Wi-Fi working fine for over 4 months in the same position

Noticed one change - on the playlists tapping okay when switching between now moves down rather than enters edit mode - you have to press up to highlight the pencil, then press ok.
TV is also not going back into standby within 30 seconds of waking if you do nothing, shows the screensaver thing now (an improvement as I often say Hello Sky to let to boot while I nip into the kitchen and put the kettle on - found it was often turned off on QS16!)

@Kevjs The change in the edit function of playlists is a great improvement 😀. It caught me out almost every time.

After all my complaining about the edit function I hadn't even noticed it had changed 😂 must have got used to going to playlist then pressing down
