F1 Season has begun - and so have the problems

I've just watched both the F1 Practice 1 and Practice 2 UHD cloud recordings from 1am and 4.45am.

Both recorded and played fully as cloud recordings fine.fine.

Also all the late evening yesterday and tearly this morning F2 and F3 also cloud recorded fine also.

All that was series linked form the series links  that I set back for last seasons F1, that I set back in March 2024.

Mine is a long standing series link too. It says it recorded it at 1am. But it's clearly the F3 that followed the FP1 session. At the start of the recording, Lazenby is talking and the results are running across a ticker at the bottom of the screen - so now I already know the results!

It has just literally changed in front of my eyes. The thing now plays the FP1 session. It's almost like the 'link' to the recording was pointed to the wrong programme and they've just corrected it.

Completely ruined it of course - as I had no choice but to go straight to FP2 so I knew the results of FP1 from that. Damn infuriating.

Strange.

Would probably suggest to redo your Playlist link's for F1.

Also,

It may where you first set your series links, it can be a few places ( tv guide, F1 channels, the UHD 900 channel, Home Sports F1 menus), they should all be the same, but sometimes on Sky Stream/Glass and Q they have been slightly different.

It maybe that the set point you originally chose from  is not working correctly.

Can you contact the Sky Viewer relations team to report it, if possible letting them know where you originally set your series links from , if you can remember.
ViewerR@sky.uk

They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems.

Looks like the particular issue is resolved now - the playlisted link did indeed start at the end of the race for the race programming, ( lucky i quickly stoppped and was able to avoid the spoiler, due to immediately notcing Martin was talking as opposed to it being either an ad or the F1 music)  i switched over to the F1 channel and did a watch from start on the race replay instead.

What i've noticed is that as soon as the race replay was over, they had seemingly updated the link on the playlist and it was starting to load from the start of the race programme.

Same. No matter what I do it resests to last lap of the race. Absolute Joke! Same issues that drove me insane last season...... and Sky then putting my package up by £10 a month taking me over £120. Seriously considering cancelling the lot and buying a jailbroken firestick.

The race did overrun, so if you played out the top tile in your playlist F1 view, that was in fact the last few laps of the race. That being the Chequered flag programme.

It is always best, to skip that top tile, scroll down and you have seen the three cloud recordings, 2:30am pre race, 3:55am race and 6:00am chequered flag post race.

Teds notebook got delayed also from its original 7:00am slot.

So the cloud recording has the end of the delayed chequered flag programme and the race replay.

At least it proves they are cloud recording at the original tv guide times.

But should adjust them, but then they never do that on Sky Q either.

Re: F1 Season has begun - and so have the problems

Please don't take this the wrong way but I don't need you to explain to me how this system works,  which it currently isn't and has previously done the same. I am selecting the 3.55am start time and it starts on lap 57/57. Previously at Mexico we wanted to watch qualifying was just showing FP1. On a sprint weekend we wanted race qualifying and got sprint qualifying we'd watched the previous day. So please don't tell me which showing to select.

Even if you scrolled down and selected the actual race rather than used the top tile, you got the same issue. Seemingly at some point after the race replay was run on the F1 channel the issue was fixed because i subsequently checked and then the race cloud recording actually started from the correct place.
