Hoping might get a reply.
Thinking of ditching sky q for sky stream. It's a bit cheaper.
Avid F1 follower so may need to 'record' at times. See some questionable things about might record or might not.
Any problems?
Sometimes miss start so will start watching 30 mins after. Any issues with this? Thanks in

Some do, some don't. Depends largely on the speed and stability of your broadband.
The Watch from start feature does work... but can't be relied upon in the same way as a recording on a hard drive. Only way to really know is to try it. If you don't like it you can easily switch back to Q within 31 days.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Kirdz I am also a F1 addict and have to say that the 2023 season experience on Glass/Stream is way better than last season which could only be described as a disaster. Having said that I still don't think is is as good as the Sky Q recording experience.
As @SlenderRobert mentions you could try Sky Glass / Stream as you have a 31 day cooling off period but my advice would be to stay with Sky Q for the time being and maybe have another look in time for the next F1 season. Hopefully by then they will have ironed out some of the issues.

@Kirdz I'm also an avid F1 fan.
Given the choice, I'd have SkyQ over Sky Glass anytime for F1.
Unfortunately I live in a listed building that can't have a dish. I used Now TV for years (having had Sky+ in a previous home), which was frustrating as it was live, next day, or nothing, and I was so happy when Sky Glass came out I made sure I had it for the start of the following season, despite the expense. But...
This season has been more reliable than last, but honestly, there is no guarantee in any particular session that 'watch from start' will be available, or that you'll be able to find the session online immediately after it finishes, and you won't know when it will appear.
So, from my point of view, it's better than Now TV, but it's not better than Sky+ or Q, because of the inability to record sessions, and lack of reliability in them being available when you want them.
Maybe given another year it will be fully reliable. As I say, it's improved since last season, so they've been working on it. But until it works every time, I would say it should never be first choice for F1, unless, like me, you can't have a dish.
