Ethernet Dropping

I have sky glass connected to a 16port ethernet switch to a vlan. There are 11 other connections all of which work just fine. Did have an IPv4 issue with Community Fibre yesterday that is now resolved. Glass was fine last night but this morning it decided it had no connection. Connected to WiFi and it works fine. Ethernet was reporting as dropping out. Tried several cables and all the same result. The switch is reporting a fault on the connection.

Spoke to sky who claimed it was my switch or broadband, then said my glass had not been connected for a week when it had. It is working at the moment. Anyone else had issues similar to this?

There al have been many reports of issues with sky stream / glass when using a switch.

why not leave it on WiFi ? The inbuilt rj45 is limited to 100mbs.
