Episodes not updating in playlist

Over the last two or three weeks I've noticed a problem with episodes not updating in playlist. So, when a new episode is on, the programme doesn't go to the top of the 'most recent' playlist. 

At first it just seemed to be the soaps (coronation Street /Eastenders) but this week it seems to be more programmes, things that are on weekly, such as Dr who and HIGNFY. I'm left looking at them trying to work out of they weren't on, if I've seen the most recent episode etc. 

Is this just a problem for me, or is it widespread? Anything I can do?
