Does Freeview get ITV 2-ITV 4 HD these days honest question as that has been nice on Stream.

Nope, but you can watch them in HD via ITVX. Can't think of the last time I watched anything on any of those channels though!

@SlenderRobert does the  Manhattan recorder work with glass or just Stream and a standard TV?

It's a standard PVR, connects via HDMI to any TV or a Glass unit. Image quality is better than Stream on the main HD free-to-air channels.

@SlenderRobert Thanks for the info.  I have just checked eBay and  both the NetGem the Manhattan can also be picked up for a bargain so one or other of them would be worth considering.

@Fothergill1

I read somewhere that the support for the older Manhattan is getting discontinued soon .....

Thanks @Jporch316 I noticed on your earlier post there is a new model coming out so I'll research that one as well.

Because Glass doesn't need ariel or dish cables I have changed my room around and now the ariel socket is on the opposite wall to the TV but it's not an insurmountable problem 😀
