Decide to go with sky glass just need to know if I require an outside ariel

Depending on how close you live to your local transmitter an indoor aerial is often sufficient to get decent enough free-to-air reception as a backup. You don't need to have it connected permanently, only if your broadband connection goes down would you want to connect it and scan for channels. It's a basic DTT tuner inside Glass so it's really only useful as a last resort.

@Rachel1968 Only in case of a broadband outage, otherwise all content is delivered over your broadband service.
