When I go to try and activate my discovery plus through sky. It provides a link, once signed in to my sky I'd it says there was an error please try again later, it was been saying this for around 4 months.

Go to the bottom of the home page and select the following in this order: MySky / your products / (enter your PIN) / App Subscriptions
Select App subscriptions / Current / and then Discovery + Monthly. Hopefully it will say £0 per month while you have a Sky subscription. If it has an option to Activate subscription select this.

I've tried this when I press on activate (for £0 a month) it gives me a qr code. I scan the qr code on my phone. It asks me to sign in to my sky account. I do this then it comes up with 'we can't do that at the moment. We hope to have everything back to normal soon. Please try again later.

Do you have a VPN running on the device you are using to try and login to your Sky account?
Have you tried in an incognito or private browser session?

No I don't have a vpn but I tried a private safari tab and an incognito tab on Google and they both said the same as before

@Cainm have you reported the issue to Sky?
If you do a Community Search for Discovery+ you will see others are having various issues with Discovery+ on Sky Stream devices🙁
