How is your  tv  connected  to  the  Internet  wifi, or ethernet cable ? Ethernet  cable  is better  more stable  connection  and straight  from your  router  to the tv, also what is  your  broadband  speed  ?

Morning @lizziew1walker and @peter-marlow+1966

I have been experiencing similar issues hence I have replied to this post and not started a new discussion.

My 55 inch Sky Glass is connected directly to my router using a high quality ethernet cable, we have super fast fibre broadband. Sometimes when I attempt to turn the TV on the screen remains black, but you can hear the sound of the last playlist programme that was playing.

Pressing buttons on the remote achieves nothing, the screen remains black, the sound from the last playlist programme prior to the TV being turned off can be heard. We always ensure after we watch a programme from the playlist that we come fully out of it back to the main splash menu, before turning the TV off.

The only way I have found to fix the issue is to turn the TV off at the wall, wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on again. Given the amount of money I am paying this is unacceptable; technology like this needs to work for the money we part with.

Sky - FIX IT - please.....
