Re: Continue watching

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@KevNewMedia I was just going to give you details of the programmes that shouldn't be in my CW rail as they have already been watched in full or have reappeared weeks after being watched.  When I looked this morning it was a mess but now it is back to what I would expect.

From memory the programmes I had watched ages ago that had reappeared were an episode of Wolf (iPlayer) and a stage of the Tour De France Femmes (Eurosport).  The recently watched programmes that hadn't dropped off were The Good Doctor (Sky Witness watched last night), Rig 45 (Ch 4 S2:E2 watched last night) and Outback Opal Hunters (Discovery+).

If you look a post 56 and 57 above from @Deedee36 I have pretty much the same experience.

I hadn't even finished typing this post and the CW is back to being a mess again.  I have now pressed the home button again and CW is back to normal.

Re: Continue watching

Mine is similar to above but has been ok for the last few days. However today, old episodes of Eastenders id already watched had appeared on the rail (iPlayer) In addition old programmes from my5 (which has never appeared on the rail before) have appeared.

Re: Continue watching

Also not sure if the above is related to my picks now being on qs21

@r27488 It has been doing this for a while now and was certainly doing it before the QS021 update.

To be fair to Sky not many people have mentioned this specific issue but never the less they are looking into it. Judging from some of the other threads on the forum I imagine they have more pressing matters to resolve.

Re: Continue watching

I noticed last night the continue watching rail, it has gone from about 15 programmes down to just 4. It does also seem to be random sometimes with things we havent watched ?

@Deedee36 I have a similar issue with Ch4.  I watched episode S2:E5 of Rig 45 and it says I have only watched about a quarter of it.  I have run it through to the end multiple times but it has made no difference.  It is now stuck on CW but I'm hoping it may correct itself when I watch the final episode.  I have also noticed that Episode 6 is not showing as Ch4 but More4 for the final episode.

I also made the mistake of adding Morning Live to my playlist the other day as there was one specific segment I wanted to see.  It now reappears every day and I can't seem to stop it. Obviously I have removed it from playlist and Manage All.

I also still have the same problems as we both reported couple of weeks ago 😠

@Deedee36 Mine is still the same as before.  Six out of the 20 programmes in my CW rail should not be there.  I find if I click the home button multiple times it sometimes reverts to what I think it should look like but the next time I go to the CW rail it is back to being a mess 🤷‍♂️

@Deedee36

Agreed, very annoying.

Generally I like my Glass TV and the streaming platform but the inability to remove unwanted items from the CW rail as well as the current issues and of course the ineffective progress bars is the main reason I would consider going back to Sky Q.  This is not likely to happen any time soon as currently I have no access to a satellite dish (the reason I went to Glass in the first place).

@Mr+Meaks I know how you feel but doubt that would resolve the issue as it is probably something at their end and not with your Glass or Puck.

Doing a factory reset 99% of times causes no problems but on the odd occasion that it goes wrong it can completely crash the system.  Sky recommend that you only do a factory reset when advised to do so by them and under their guidance just in case of problems.

Re: Continue watching

@KevNewMedia, I'm new to stream and it's rather poor.

Box keeps on hanging. Slow to change volume.

In relation to this thread, all we get in the continue watching list is netflix. Not paramount, not appletv, not itvx, not sky, just netflix.

We're watching Then You Run a sky original on sky max. It never remembers a single thing.

We were on nowtv before and that worked a treat.

Perhaps they get the same team that wrote nowtv to look at stream?
