Channel 4OD app not working

Chanel 4 OD app on TV (sky glass) is not working. Internet is fine and all other channels are working with no issues. Unable to uninstall and reinstall app

@Moymack1 What do you mean by not working? Are you able to describe what is happening when you are opening the Channel 4 app?

It is loading but not connecting to the actual channel. Only happening with 4.

I have just checked  my channel  4 app, working fine, on my tv and puck build version  on the tv is QS030.520.00p, I am on full fibre  to the property , sky gigafast broadband  900mps  don't  know if that make any difference ? I am in the south east of England

Would suggest trying a restart of your Sky Stream box

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

There has been another forum user who has reported something similar. See: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Glass-Live/All4-Channel-4-app-not-loading/td-p/4731222

 

They used the recovery procedure to factory reset the TV, however this can cause issues and should only be used if you have exhausted all other avenues. Also who is your ISP? Some smaller ones sometimes use IP blocks which are listed outside the UK which has caused C4 on demand to display unexpected behaviour.

I am having the same issue - have been using the all 4 app no issue but yesterday - I just get the 4 number continually - nothing else.  All other apps working perfectly

I've reset everything. So.eone else said they contacted sky but nothing they could do ad they were told to contact app provider or something. I've had to use fire stick. It's a pain. Channel 4 need to get it sorted

I'm having the same issue with All4/Channel 4 app.  I've turned everything off / reset and reset the apps - no change - any suggestions?

Only thing working for me is using fire stick with channel 4 app. No amount of resets or reports have helped

Some HD channels are not working

I have come home today with my Sky Glass telling me I need to upgrade to view some HD channels. I already have Ultimate TV and UHD active on my account.

Call sky. I was originally told they was no issue but partner called and told them to check again as there is an issue n it was all fixed after they reset stuff
