Changing batteries in sky puck remote control

It may sound a stupid question, but I need to change the batteries in my Sky multi room puck, but I can't find a way to open it.  See an arrow which looks as though you push down to open it, but it just won't move.  Any ideas please

Hi @Chsndos

See the diagram here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass#:~:text=Only%20use%20AAA%20alkaline%....

It can be very stiff and takes a fair bit of force the first few times you remove the back cover.

Hi @Wilbeal Removing the back of the remote can be a problem the first couple of times as it it very stiff.

Have a look at the posts above and the link provided by @mikealanr but if you are still having trouble the following might help.

I find holding the remote at both ends with the buttons down and my thumbs on top and then applying pressure and pushing with one thumb and pulling with the other in the direction of the arrow is sufficient to remove the cover. Note the back only moves a few millimetres and can then be lifted off.

A number of people have found that wearing rubber kitchen gloves helps to give more purchase on the plastic components.
