On sky stream and glass you cannot record shows its jusg added to your playlist that's sort of the same thing just keeps your show on demand for later viewing

if you press the + sign on a show in the tv guide it will add the show (and all previous shows) to your playlist. It will either cloud record to skys servers or link to the relevant catchup app / on demand link depending on source channel
if you are still within your 31 day cooling off period you can swap / revert to sky q or cancel altogether

Glass televisions and Stream pucks have no hard drives and so local recording is simply not an option: that's fundamental to the way they were designed.

day cooling of period you can cancel and request sky q but bear in mind if you have glass/stream on a 30 day rolling contract this is not an option for sky q you will be tied into a 18 month contract

To be fair, Sky still have the 'R' word plastered all over their Glass webpages.
Interestingly, it's much less prominent in Stream promotion.
