Can't watch sky program retrospectively

When i had skyq i used to record Grands Prix that started in the early hours of the morning and watched them when I got up. Having moved to sky stream I assumed the equivalent process would be to locate the broadcast in TV guide and add it to Playlist. However, when I selected it from Playlist it started playing from the point I switched on and use of the begin from start only took me back to this point not the start of the program. What is the correct procedure or is what I want to do not possible in which case I will miss several races.
