Will not let me log in when I have sky cinema it's asking me to subscribe

Go to My Sky, then click Sky Shop and select the Paramount+ app. Or, say "Get Paramount Plus" into your Sky remote.
Open the Paramount+ app and click Get Paramount+. Click Confirm.
Scan the QR code shown on screen, or go to sky.com/paramountplus-activate.
Sign in with your Sky iD. You'll be taken to Paramount+ to create your account. Enter your email address and choose a password, these do not need to be the same as your Sky iD.
Open the Paramount+ app on your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream puck.
Click Sign in with Paramount+ (the button will turn blue when selected).
You can click to sign in either On the web or On my TV. If you select On the web, you will be asked to go to paramountplus.com/tv on your computer or mobile device, and enter the code shown on your screen. If you select On my tv, you will be asked to enter the sign in details you created on the Paramount+ website.

This does not work for me .I've tried going into the app directly ,going through my sky ,going to paramount TV online and tried the Sky.com/paramountplus-activate Web address that isn't there !!!
Most frustrating for me and lots of others it appears .

Hi I've finally managed to activate paramountplus but had to download a QR code reader and use that . Once scanned it gives you a link ,open that and it takes you nicely through the process .
Delete the QR scanner after you've done if you need to although it's not a big app only 8MB .👍

I've tried with a QR reader, the link is saying bad request. Nothing is working unless I pay to subscribe when it should be free with Sky Cinema. I called Sky, they don't seem to know what they are talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the bottom of the home page and select MySky / your products / (enter your PIN) / App Subscriptions
Select App subscriptions / Current / and then Paramount + Monthly. Hopefully it will say £0 per month as you have Sky Cinema. If so select Activate subscription.

Followed the steps to activate subscription which takes me to the QR code, link took me to Sky sign in, page not working. Tried a second time, link said bad request.

Find out more@Dear I see you have already spoken to Sky but it would like to try again I can escalate your original post to the community messaging team who will invite you to an online chat. Also, have you tried contacting Paramount as it's always possible the issue is at their end and not Sky.

Hi, I followed instructions again, sign in page was working this time, re directs to Paramount Plus which again asks me to subscribe and pay. Perhaps the problem is with Paramount Plus?

Contacted Paramount Plus, I had to uninstall Paramount app for the process to work. Now I can watch the channel, yay!

Thanks for this info. I was going round in circles trying to get it to work but mine was coming up in Spanish for some unknown reason. After deleting the phone app and trying again, it finally seems to have worked. Thanks again. 👍🏻
