Thanks Pepe but I really can't take the credit - that's all down to Lee at Sky! Don't suppose he'll ever see this but if you do Lee. THANK YOU 🙏

We got a Alexa speaker recently and paired it to Sky glass sometimes it works and other times the sound just breaks up. Also we had to turn off the auto connect as throughout the day the speaker would come on saying now connected to Sky which got very annoying especially when your listening to radio on your Alexa.

Problem has miraculously gone away. I wonder if Sky has implemented a fix.

I believe 24.011 has fixed it.

Yes, this would appear to have fixed it (for now anyway). Thanks for all contributions on this thread.

I also had this problem and found the latest update they were connecting better. However was using AirPods Max during all the initial problems and those headphones stopped working altogether. I thought it was just the headphones at fault. Couldn't get them easily repaired so ended up buying a new pair of Bose QC ultra.
They were working ok with sky glass for a few weeks but now they've developed a similar fault the my AirPods. The right ear is now playing a continuous hissing white noise that doesn't go away and the noise cancelling isn't working correctly. This is basically the same fault my AirPods suffered.
Both pairs of headphones I was only using with sky glass and both have suffered the same hardware fault. The AirPods were 2 years old so I put it down to age but now the new headphones have had exactly the same problem after owning them for just a couple of weeks, I can only put it down to sky glass actually causing the headphones to fail.
I can no longer trust using sky glass at all with expensive headphones given 2 hardware failures that have now occurred. The latest update may have improved connectivity but I still had some issues when first connecting sometimes not getting any sound at all or sound being out of sync still until disconnecting and reconnecting a few times. And to have 2 pairs of headphones now rendered unusable after being used with sky glass I think they still have some serious issues.

That seems extremely strange for 2 pairs of headphones to fail in this way.
Did you try pairing the headphones with other Bluetooth devices to see if they functioned correctly after their failure on Glass? Did you try refreshing their firmware?

Yes tried pairing to other devices since but same issues and they're all up to date with latest firmware available.
The AirPods actually further degraded to a point where they will no longer pair to anything, cannot even reset them nor do they charge properly. It's only just occurred on the others so they haven't got as bad yet but they're not usable now anyway. Fortunately I can at least return those for a refund.
The white noise in the right ear 👂 f the new ones now plays as soon as you put them on without being paired to anything. I've tried to forget them from sky glass. I still don't think they ever properly disconnect. I don't have auto connect enabled for sky glass but any of the headphones I've used with it tell me they have connected to sky as soon as I put them on. Even though you look at sky glass and it shows them not connected. There's definitely still something not right there with connectivity even in the last sky glass firmware update.
I can't trust sky glass now ever again with expensive headphones but will be trying some cheap air buds out to see if I get the same a third time. I can't prove it was caused by sky glass itself but it's all I was using at the time on both occasions so that's what it points to.
