If Bluetooth to hearing aids was knocked out by the recent firmware release then yes, there would be nothing Sky support could do until that update was either rolled back or a revised version developed, released and applied. Yours is the first such post though, and we might expect to see many more if it was the result of the current update.

Surely if sky can do a software update then why can't they include Bluetooth?

When something like that changes for the worse after an update, it's typically because someone got the programming wrong and the update will need to be reverted or revised and then re-released.

If I had known this was going to happen I wouldn't have had a glass tv I would have stayed with skyQ..

I'm in the same position. The Bluetooth connection allows me to hear what is being said through my hearing aids. It was working well until a few days ago. If it is an update to my service that is needed, how do I do that?

Sky Glass 55 with Bose Quietcomfort 15 headphones converted to wireless using a C15 adapter.
Been working perfectly since Day 1 - but as of a few days ago (say 18th November or so) not anymore. Handshake between C15 and Sky Glass intermittent and sound in headphones so broken as to be inaudible and very uncomfortable.
Please advise...

I have been connecting and using Google Pixel Buds successfully until yesterday evening. Now the audio is so intermittent you can't make out what is being said, rendering this functionality useless.

I have had actually the same problem. New 55" Sky Glass arrived on 10/11 and I was really impressed to discover I coudl connect my hearing aids directly to the TV...........for about 10 days and now sound is inaudible with very brief sound bursts followed by a good few seconds of silence and then repear ad infinitum! I have spoke to SKY who have raised this with their technical team, but they have not left me remotely optomistic!

I can confirm the issue appears to have been resolved. Hope the same goes for everyone that's experienced issues.

My 43" Glass won't connect to Bluetooth headphones and completely bricks the tv. Only a power cycle gets the tv functional again. Utter garbage. Do Sky not test this stuff before roll out?

Ref my post above re Bluetooth connectivity problems, I'm pleased to report that tonight (23 Nov 23) following a power-down reboot of my Sky Glass 55 connectivity to my Bluetooth headphones is now fully restored.
Frustrating that a Sky update caused the problem but thanks to Sky for sorting it out quickly and effectively...

Mine doesn't work. I'm thinking of sending it back and switching to another provider. And I'm a VIP customer of many years.

Sky generally roll out the updates in batches.

Ref my last re problem being fixed - AS YOU WERE...! Today (25 Nov) the problem is back with a vengeance. Oddly the initial handshake between my Sky Glass 55 and Bose Quietcomfort 15 headphones converted to wireless with a C15 adapter works better than it ever has, but the connection having been established the sound in the headphones is so broken as to be effectively nonexistent.
Pity - I'll try a power off reboot of the TV, but even if that works it is not an acceptable solution for the future.
Good luck fellow sufferers...!
