Black Rectangle on Sky Glass

Just got Sky Glass. Having an issue whereby it looks like the wee preview screen which appears when you are scrolling menu, jumps to the side of the screen and goes black. Can't get rid of it unless I switch the TV off at the mains. It's very very annoying! 
can anyone help with a fix?

I'm sure there s an older thread here somewhere where someone had the same issue but I can't find it !
