While I love walking into my living room and being reminded that I have a TV when it swithes itself on and it shows me the current programs avaialble for the day and the weather.
. . . I HATE THE FACT THAT THE TV DECIDES ON ITS OWN TO SWITCHES ITSELF OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRUCIAL SCENE WHILE YOU ARE WATCHING IT. . . It is programmed to do this everytime it doesn't sense any motion in the room. So how about if you are sitting down QUIETLY on the sofa? Or, is one supposed to be jumpimg up and down so that the tv recognises there is someone in the room?
I looked at the settings, and as far as I can see, it is not so far possible to switch the Auto Standby mode off and leave the Wake up using motion function on . They are either both on, or both off.
Kindly correct this in your next firm where update and separate these functions.
