Audio Description turning itself on

I've had an issue for at least a month where audio description turns itself on. I have to go into the 3 dot menu to switch it off.

The next day I'll switch on my Sky Glass and it'll be on again.

I've checked with everyone on my house that their not turning it on. None of them had a clue that it was even an option.

It's more of an annoyance than anything else but can't figure out why it's happening.

@lord+smorg  If you are having the same issue as the original poster @luk34dd0 it sounds as though audio description is turned in settings on or you would not be able to turn it off by using the 3 dots button menu.  When using the 3 dots menu it only changes audio description (and subtitles for that matter) until you change channels or put the Glass/puck into standby after which it defaults back to whatever is set in your Glass settings.

You can make sure audio description is turned OFF by going into the Settings > Accessibility menu.

Re: Audio Description turning itself on

i have identified this happens 100% of the time when on the F1 channel and the program changes to TED DRIVES

it also happens on other supplemenaty programs, like the one talking about history of the sport.

But 100% of the time that TED DRIVES starts the audio description starts, its like they know theres no talking when watching the car go around the track, so they defualt to forcing AD on

and no, its not in my settings before anyone tried to claim that.
