Are they developing a Stream/Glass mobile app?

Does anyone know if Sky is developing a mobile app for Stream users to search services or edit Playlists?
When I was on Virgin I used the App daily, but with Stream I'm having to use the individual streaming service Apps and can't edit Playlists away from my TV.

Unlikely... that would improve user experience... Improving user experience is a low priority?

I think a mobile app would be a great additional. A great way ti manage your playlists on the go, and perhaps it could also act as a remote control ( a la the Amazon Fire app) which could help those unfortunate people who regualrly suffer from remote issues.

The NOW App works well, as does the Roku one.

@nmbailey

A standalone app for Glass/Stream is unlikely: I'd suggest the most that could be hoped for is some integration with Sky Go (or possibly My Sky)

NowTV is a subscription content delivery system in itself, not a hardware companion app.

When you described your Sky Stream App it appeared to have no content streaming functionality just management functionality?

The NOW  TV App is a content Streaming App!

I don't need a content streaming App - Sky Go works fine for me. I would like a content (ie Playlists) management App

Agreed, Sky Go is essentially the content streaming app, so one already exists.

Re: Are they developing a Stream/Glass mobile app?

Old threrad I know but Im a newish sky stream customer. I started watching something from Sky Documentaries on the tv and expected to be able to continue watching on sky go. Firstly Sky Go didnt have a continue option so I had to restart.. then I had to watch ads beforte it started and then when I was scrolling to find my position it made me watch all the ads in the middle.

So Sky Go is definitiely not the app version of Sky Stream..

That is correct: as noted above there's currently no interaction between Sky Stream and Sky Go.
