Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mooksy working for me. Do. Check you are choosing a version of the show your TV can display especially if you are ising a Sony TV as some cant display Dolby Vision from some apps.. Otherwise try to refresh app option at the bottom of Settings

Thanks for your help,I've just switched off the sky Tv glass and took the main plug out of the socket for about a min or 2 and it's working again.I tried exactly the same thing the other day and it didn't work but for some reason it did this time.We shouldn't need to keep having these issues with these sky glass tv's.I had to change 3 sky glass tv's because i had different problems with them all and I'm still having issues.

I thought i solved the issue with prime video but it's doing it again.Playing a movie but you just have a black screen and the sound.I've had loads of issues with sky glass since I've had it.Makes me wonder why I'm still paying my bills if i can't watch anything.Same old problems.

I still can't watch Amazonnin Sky Glass, I have tried everything! Is there any updates as to why this is happening? Sky are not the easiest to get hold off ti try and resolve this issue

Got the same issue with my sky glass that arrived at weekend. Trailers work but no programmes visible only sound.

I'm having the e same issue - temp fix that wits for ne
- sign out of prime
- switch sky glass tv off at the wall plug for 10-20 seconds
- start prime app again and sign in.
this works until you watch another app/channel or put tv on standby/ switch off (essentially anything other than have the prime app open)

I also cannot watch PrimeVideo on my SkyQ - I just get a message saying the app is not currently available at the moment. YourTube and Netflix work fine. I have powercycled the SkyQ box, to no avail.
Interestingly, when trying to cast to my sky box, I once again, can see it in the list of devices to cast to for Netflix and Youtube, but not when trying to cast Prime Video.
It seems my particular model of Sky box is not liking Prime Video - firmware, who knows. It is connected to the sky router, so if there was an outstanding update, I would expect it to auto-update.

Just a quick update, I manually updated my SkyQ box software, and Prime Video now loads.
Don't get me going on why it didn't auto update, and why it didn't say an update was needed instead of the incredibly unhelpful "app not available" error message.

Just spoken to somebody at Sky - it will not be resolved until 20th August when they are doing a software upgrade - should be fixed for 21st August

Let's hope the upgrade works. We've regressed and plugged in our old Fire Stick.

I'm having the same problem - prime on sky glass is only playing audio but the screen is black. Just noticed it today, tried turning on and off and signing out and back in to prime, still not working.
