Got fed up with resetting my apps and waiting for sky to sort it out, and did the factory reset like others have, and now works fine again.

Sorry Daniel - my last post should have read channel 4 (not 5!)

@James3691 Glad this helped. We've not had any issues after doing so (which was a while ago now); hopefully this will be the same for you.

Mine has been like this for months, despite refreshing the apps on several occasions.

Hi @JNollett , the app refresh didn't work for me or many others. Carrying out the factory reset did however; as described in this thread.
Sky did say that this should be done with their guidance; but I was happy to do it myself. If you're not confident enough I'd advise asking Sky for assistance. You will need to sign in to apps and things again though; so you will need user names and passwords...etc.

Hi Daniel,
I have been suffering with the issue of the E4 app not working via my sky stream puck for around a month. I looked the issue up last night and spotted this thread. My immediate response has been to undertake an app refresh which I did both last night and again just. However this has not resolved the issue.
As requested I have recorded a 2 min long video from the point of me turning my TV on, at around 5.30pm this evening (15th Nov). I have also left the recording running whilst I accessed the E4 app directly via my smart TV which is how I've been watching E4 over the last month. However I seem unable to upload a movie file to this discussion thread. Can you advise how I can get the video to you?
with thanks
nicKe1

Thanks I know this but you get a message advising only gif or jpeg files are accepted, not movie files.
