AirPlay on Sky Glass

Cannot get AirPlay to work on sky glass with any of my Apple devices. Followed various YouTube videos to the letter, still didn't work and Sky cut me off when I called them. Any clues would be gratefully received

• We now have airplay home kit  and to sky glass  tv  so if you have an I phone you can cast videos  and photos  to the tv

How do you do this ? I can see air play on my tv , but won't let me air play anything??

Are you based in UK or Republic of Ireland

Airplay function on Sky Glass is UK only at the moment

If you based in UK there is a Airplay Homekit app in Apps & Inputs

If you are in the uk you can simply select the screen mirroring option in the quick access menu on iPhones and iPads. Normally pulling down on the screen from the top right

Uk and I've tried the screen mirroring function by pulling down top right and it's only hanging

Try pulling your ply on the glass for a few minutes and plugging back in 

also what iPhone are you using ? Which version of iOS ?

I'm not 100% but thought so. Apart from Ireland

Hi, thanks for trying to help. Am using iPhone 13 and IPad 6th gen. I unplugged the glass and restarted, tried again and this time the screen mirroring found the glass, but when I clicked it said it couldn't connect and then that option disappeared from screen mirroring and I just got a wheel of death again. 

Everything is on the same network and I have no vpn engaged so I'm at a bit of a loss whether the problem is the glass or the Apple devices 🤷‍♀️

I had that same issue with connecting iPhone to tv for Airplay & all I did was reboot my iPhone , reboot Glass tv then refresh Apps so it will ask for 4 digit code again then it should work.

Unfortunately we are fellow subscribers on the community and don't have such information. Sky don't usually announce things in advance either.
