I cancelled our direct subscription because it was included in the Sky package but now cannot access through Sky; no matter how I try and activate all I get is " Upgrade to Watch"

I assume by "activate" you mean you have worked through all of the steps here?

If so, double check step 6 and that you are signing into the correct account.
