Hi I am surprised to find that when I watch shows on the TV set live I get subtitles yet when these are recorded either as I watch or pre-set, the subtitles don't work. As I am hard of hearing this is frustrating as I miss half of the commentary. Thank you.

Hi @Qwatcher There should be no difference in subtitles in live or recorded shows as subtitles are recorded (if available) with the show. However depending on the broadcaster, some shows downloaded on catch up or demand may not include them. This is down to the broadcaster and sometimes the show resolution. Many UHD programmes do not include subtitles.
