It's disappointing this still hasn't been progressed.
I expected with the major upgrade to sky stream entertainment OS to 1.2 would include this.

Sadly expections way to high..
Don't forget Sky have some really low standards, I mean really low.. Predictably they are struggling to reach such low standards..
Could be a while.. 7+ years and counting..

So do we put bets on for Summer 2024 or is Summer 2026 a better shout?

Don't give them another second of your time, they don't care about you.
I Watch UHD content on Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Netflix.
Way better that Sky for picture quality and sound is amazing especially if you have a decent Dolby Atmos Soundbar setup and IMAX Enhanced rounds of brilliant experience, truely sublime on a LG 4K OLED Panel - Subtitles from day one and that was nearly 4 years ago!!!

I pay for uhd quality as I'm deaf I use subtitles a lot but no subtitles on uhd format I have to change the format to HD get subtitles when i watch on demand services was told this would be sorted by summer 2023 how long as uhd been out quick enough to sell the uhd tv but cant get the uhd subtitles

Hey guess what it's summer of 2023.....once again sky has failed to honour its "promise" . I find sky the worst platform provider for subtitles clearly they have some hatred towards customers who rely on subtitles.
sort it out or own the failure take your pick!

Films with subtitles in SD and HD mode do not have subtitles when played in UHD mode. This seems wrong. It means people who are hard of hearing or deaf are not alllowed to enjoy films in UHD?

I was told subtitles would be available for uhd summer 2023 still waiting i use subtitles as being deaf sky ain't supporting disabilities here will charge for uhd but don't give the full service other providers have subtitles on uhd but sky always last as usual we should be updated when this is going to happen why should I pay uhd when you can't even get subtitles on them as I need them
